Privacy policy

We may collect personal information you voluntarily provide, such as your name and email address when you contact us or book a consultation. We also automatically collect certain usage data, including your IP address, browser type and pages visited.

When you book a consultation, Zoom Scheduler collects your name, email address and any answers you give on the booking form. Your payment details go directly to Stripe, which processes the payment through Zoom Scheduler for the consultant you book. We receive the booking details from Zoom. We never see your full card number.

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Site, respond to your inquiries, deliver the consultations you book and analyze usage trends.

We use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure traffic and the performance of our advertising. They load after a page has finished loading and may set cookies. You can block them with your browser settings or a content blocker, and the Site works without them.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, none of these tags load. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Meta and LinkedIn tags do not load and Google Analytics runs without its advertising features.

We keep a note in your browser of how you found the Site, such as the search engine or campaign link you followed, for up to 90 days. When you start or finish a booking from this Site, our analytics record that together with the note, so we can tell which sources lead to bookings. It holds no name, email address or other identifier, and we do not keep it for visitors from the regions named above.

These providers process information on our behalf:

• Cloudflare hosts the Site, handles every request to it and keeps short-lived request logs for security and debugging.
• Zoom runs our booking pages and video calls (Zoom Scheduler and Zoom Meetings).

These services receive information when you use them and handle it under their own privacy policies, which can include uses of their own such as fraud prevention or advertising:

• Stripe processes booking payments (Stripe).
• YouTube serves the videos on our resource pages. A video loads from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play (Google).
• Google, Meta and LinkedIn receive page views from the tags described above. Google also receives booking starts, video plays and clicks on our email address, and Google and Meta receive booking conversions (Google, Meta, LinkedIn).

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
